Can anyone fix up my Tascam FW1884?? |

Hi Everyone,
I have a Tascam FW1884 and FE8 thats having problems. Its running with Windows 7 but is having problems booting and maintaining audio. I'm not sure whether its a problem with Windows, the Windows drivers (V1.8), the firewire card, firewire cables or the FW1884 itself.
I'd be prepared to pay well anyone that knows this stuff and can help me sort out the problem.

Find another Mac to test first. Make sure that the problem comes from. ?.
1. Cable.
2. Firewire port (PCIe Card or Tascam port).
3. Windows version or Tascam driver compatible.
Difficult to summarize the issues. If this does not limit the scope of the problem.
Once, I had a problem like you.
Firewire 400 port is not working on Audio interface device.
But, it has two port. An the other port is working.

Read the Audio interface installation instruction.
You must use exactly Windows OS match to the machine driver.
As far as I can think about right now.
